A modern girl's comedic odyssey in a school filled with the descendants of Greek gods.

When Phoebe's mom returns from Greece with a new husband and moves them to an island in the Aegean , Phoebe's plans for her senior year and track season are ancient history. Now she must attend the uber exclusive academy, where admission depends on pedigree, namely, ancestry from Zeus, Hera, and other Greek gods. That's right, they're real, not myth, and their teen descendants are like the classical heroes -supersmart and superbeautiful with a few superpowers. And now they're on her track team! Armed only with her Nikes and the will to win, Phoebe races to find her place among the gods.

I picked this book up because honestly – it was on sale

What I liked the Most? The laugh out loud snary comebacks

What I liked the Least? Nothing really – it was a fun cute read

Review: You know – senior year is hard enough when all you have to worry about is college & running – but when you add in mom’s new romance, marriage, and a move!! Your life is over – or so Phoebe thought. Her story is a fun read. Cute, interesting, and filled with fun facts on the Greek Gods, there’s a little something for everyone. If you’re at the beach, or sitting on the porch, this makes the perfect lazy no brainer read. By the end of it you will be wishing to be a descendant of a Goddess yourself! Most of the characters were pretty likable and Phoebe is our typical, lovable heroine. While this is an interesting and creative novel, sometimes it appeared as if the characters were older then they were written. Other then that, a fast read that leaves the reader wanting more.

Recommended to: Anyone for a quick light feel better read
