His only son Kyle is an insufferable jackass who won't give his father the time of day. He is dating Claire, the school's adorable art teacher, but she doesn't want to get serious -- or even acknowledge publicly that they are dating. Then, in the wake of a freak accident, Lance suffers the worst tragedy and greatest opportunity of his life. He is suddenly faced with the possibility of all the fame, fortune and popularity he ever dreamed of, if he can only live with the knowledge of how he got there.
I picked this movie because BF
What I liked the Most? Canonizing the dead
What I liked the Least? Kyle – the poster child for abortion
Review: This movie said it was a comedy (that’s why BF picked it up) but it’s not a haha make you laugh comedy – it’s a deep dark satire that had just a little bit too much light poured into it. It’s about the American public creating legends out of the dead. We all do it – it’s like death washes away all evil & smarm. We all know it’s not true, but we don’t want to speak ill of the dead, right?
OMG – WTF – Did I just see Robin Williams’ penis? For real? Oh – too funny.
Watch it on the DVD and watch the behind the scenes stuff – Bobcat is hilarious!!! “I’m not dead – I’m just not doing reality shows” or “Oh no he didn’t”.
Recommended to: Fans of dark comedy drama
Best Quote: “I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It's not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.” Or “I didn’t ask to be born.”
