Series Harry Potter #6

The war against Voldemort is not going well; even Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses.

And yet . . .

As in all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate — and lose a few eyebrows in the process. The Weasley twins expand their business. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

So it's the home front that takes center stage in the multilayered sixth installment of the story of Harry Potter. Here are Hogwarts, Harry will search for the full and complex story of the boy who became Lord Voldemort — and thereby find what may be his only vulnerability.

What I liked the Least? Snogging Snogging Snogging

Review: I just don’t know – I really didn’t enjoy this book & it has nothing to do with the BIG DEATH scene. I think Harry spent way to much time & effort on trying to convince everyone else of things & forgot that he can do it.

Good points:
  • Yay – the twins have opened WWW (get it) and they are a smashing success – in more ways than one.
  • Luna Luna Luna – should I say more?
  • Fleur! I love that you took a stand at the end.
  • Ginny – very easily hands down one of my favorite characters. LOL

Bad points:
  • I get it – Harry is the dang queen of the sudan but get that temper under control
  • Often reads like the boy who cried wolf
  • Whimper whine –
  • RAB – you spent the summer at the house & he’s your Godfather’s brother and you ain’t figured it out yet - jeeps

I’m gonna really have to push myself to read the next one.
