What I liked the Most? The death – it was awesome!!!
What I liked the Least? The main characters naivety about her husband
Review: This book is not going to revolutionize the world, but it was a quick fun read with a LOT (maybe too many) quirky characters (and not all of them are human). Ok, so story line runs like this – EVIL mother-in-law’s apartment burned down while she was in the hospital so she moved in (plus deranged dog), then the hubby dies (leaving behind a shit load of debt, mysteries, drained bank accounts, & loan sharks), then her unintentional black widow of a Mother comes home after burying yet another husband (plus massive cat), her kids won’t help with anything, the parrot expresses opinions via old literary quotes, and then someone gets killed at the office & the cops suspect her.
All in all, a bit confusing but a fun book.
Major Peeve: For good ness sake if you want to eat the piece of cake eat the damn cake, but don’t make me feel guilty for wanting a piece of cake.
