Directly in my journal
Gessoed both of the pages with Daler Rowney Gradute Gesso (let dry)
Applied a coat of Liquitex Matte Gel over the whole page
Adhered journal card (not sure where it came from - I have a ton) & scraps of Tim Holtz idea-ology tissue wrap
Applied a second coat of Liquitex Matte Gel over the whole page (let dry)
Used Derivan Matisse acrylic paint in Cerulean Blue & Cobalt Teal (squirted it on the page & painted it on 3/4 Plaid One Stroke Flat brush)
Pulled paint back off the page using a paper towel (you can't really see it in the picture)
Dropped bits of Golden acrylic in Iridescent Silver and smudged those in using fingers (except the butterfly got a heavier coat)
Writing "find your wings and..." written with uni-ball Signo "FLY" used Making Memories chipboard letters as a stencil & filled in with Painters white paint marker
Edging was done with Martha Stewart Crafts glitter stamping kit (minus the glitter) and Ranger Archival Ink jet black.
I may go back and add some detail work once it is totally dry.
