Building a Birdhouse

My Shining Star's birthday is tomorrow, so BF and I decide to 

give her son Joshua an activity to give to her.

BF cut out and mostly predrilled a cute little birdhouse, then

we packed up all the tools that would be needed

and headed over to the house so Joshua could build it.

He was not so happy with squishing the glue down,

but he did it!

He even got to use the drill!

Tada! Finished birdhouse - I hope she likes it.

Vander Haunted Candy Walk

Okay, So I don't have kids (everyone knows this) but that doesn't mean I don't keep track of kiddy things. And when I find them I generally steal borrow a kid or teen from one of my friends or my nephew. This particular weekend Little Man was OOT, so I grabbed Star's youngest Squish (actually she came too :) )

Let's just say - this event was a big old success. The wonderful people of Vander Haunted Trail gave out over 500lbs of candy in the first 30 minutes and totally got more candy on site in less than 20 minutes. And while we were waiting in line, there were a ton of other things for the kids to do. Bouncy houses & face painting & games. And the very best part - it was totally FREE!

Make Up Hayride

Well since JT is too little to go to the Haunted Houses - I took him & Morgan (plus his Mom & Chrissy) on a Hayride at West Produce.

He got to ride on the hayride & then pick out a pumpkin to carve.

LOL

Me & Cathy playing with camera phones in the back seat of the car on the way to the RenFaire. We had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun.
