No one likes to be alone during the holidays. For New York's most posh dating service, Personally Yours, it is the season to bring lonely hearts together. But Lt. Eve Dallas, on the trail of a ritualistic serial killer, has made a disturbing discovery: all of the victims have been traced to Personally Yours. Eve soon enters an elite world of people searching for their one true love--and one killer searching for his next victim.

I picked this book up because Series

What I liked the Most? The personalization of the characters – they are really starting to grow

What I liked the Least? The sex kind of got in the way

Review: With Christmas only days away, Eve is stressed out trying to find the right gift for Roarke, and this task is complicated by the fact that he "not only had everything, but owned most of the plants and factories that made it." Also the drama of trying to find presents for all the people now in her life makes it perfect.

This storyline features a barely healed Eve taking on a series of sexual homicides – which remind her of her father’s abuse. The murderer, a Santa Claus wanna be, appears to be choosing victims from the client list of Personally Yours, an elite dating service. This is a fast acting killer as s/he is leaving behind symbols from "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and may very well be trying to commit twelve murders in the few remaining days of the 2058 holiday season.

I really enjoyed the byplay between Peabody/McNab and Peabody/Eve in this story.

Best Quote: "It's more than you think it can be, It changes everything, and fixes everything that matters. Maybe you're never going to be the same, and maybe part of you is always afraid of what will happen if...but he's always going to be there. All you have to do is reach out, and he's going to be there."
