The lines between reality and fantasy blur as Baby Doll and her four companions, as well as a mysterious guide, fight to retrieve the five items they need that will allow them to break free from their captors before it's too late...
I picked this movie because
What I liked the Most? The visually dazzling collage of the main character’s extreme mental insanity or the Steampunk Nazi Zombies – it’s a toss up.
What I liked the Least? The acting wasn’t oscar worthy, but hey it was nice to be wooed for a bit
Review: On the surface it looks like a mindless kick ass, eye candy flick (not that there is anything wrong with that) but don't you be fooled – there is a rocking underlining. It is deeper (much deeper) than the first impression (really it is). Any movie that keeps churning your mind after you see it - processing what actually happened is a good movie so put your thinking cap on- because its deeper than you think. What a Malkie movie – I loved it.
Recommended to: Anyone who wants to loose themselves in a story for awhile but be open to the fact that it will almost certainly not be exactly what you expect
Best Quote: And finally. This question. The mystery of whose story it will be, of who draws the curtain. Who is it that chooses our steps in a dance? Who drives us mad, flashes us with whips, crowns us with victory when we survive the impossible? Who is it that tells all these things?
