Series In Death #31
First it was a limo driver shot through the neck with a crossbow. Then it was a high-priced escort found stabbed through the heart with a bayonet.

Random hits, thrill kills, murderers with a taste for the finer things in life-and death-are making NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas angry. And an angry Eve can be just as an efficient and dangerous predator as the killer.

As time runs out on another innocent victim's life, Eve's investigation will take her into the rarefied circle that her husband, Roarke, travels in-and into the perverted heart of madness.

I picked this book up because Series

What I liked the Most? Vacation in Ireland

What I liked the Least? She’s used this ploy before

Review: While not one of my top five it’s a solid entry due to dialogue, character growth, & pacing. The interwoven plot points murderer, the motive or the method are all working here. I really enjoyed the friendship aspect of this book more than normal – from the heart warming talk with Bella & Mavis to the intense interlude with Morris to simple breakfast with Charles & Louise – the growth of the outside friendships are helping her become a more well rounded individual and I'm glad to see it.

Best Quote: "I hear the cock woke you up."
Eve choked on her coffee. "What?"
"Not that kind of cock." Sinead sent a sparkling look over her shoulder. "Though if that's true as well, good for you. I meant the rooster."
